Art is a powerful therapeutic tool for physiological, social, emotional, and spiritual growth and healing. In this course, participants will explore the transformative power of creativity through therapeutic artmaking activities and reflective practices. This course introduces participants to various therapeutic art education practices, the healing power of art in relation to self and others, and methods for developing creativity and imagination. By course end, participants will understand how to organically, purposefully, and ethically integrate therapeutic strategies into their classroom management methods, instructional strategies, art education curriculum, assessments, and personal artmaking practices.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
