Participants must demonstrate artistic proficiency in various fiber art techniques and translate the medium for classroom implementation. Participants will use traditional and innovative fiber arts approaches to develop a body of work, using the techniques of weaving, felting, embroidery, surface design, and hand-sewn textiles. In addition to studio practice, participants must demonstrate proficiency in curricular development, management, and organization of fiber arts.
