Basic technology proficiency is required.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<section style=\"position: relative; background-color:#FFFFFF;\" class=\"block-section container-x-pad container-y-pad ai-start d-grid\"><div class=\"block-section-content\" style=\"position: relative; z-index: 3;\">\n<div class=\"block-wrapper custom-content-row mt-md none pad-none\" style=\"position: relative;margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; max-width: 900px; width: 100%;background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0);\"><div class=\"block-wrapper-content\" style=\"position: relative; z-index: 3;\">\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-heading\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Graduate Courses<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-paragraph\">\n<p>AOEU students need basic technological proficiency. Assignments may include but are not limited to word processing, document creation, digital slide presentations, photographing work, and recording video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-columns-row d-grid custom-content-row mt-md none gap-md ai-start cols-2 half\">\n<div class=\"block-column none pad-sm\" style=\"position: relative;background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0);\"><div class=\"block-column-content\" style=\"position: relative; z-index: 3;\">\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Devices<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Desktop\/laptop devices are required for AOEU coursework.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Desktop\/laptop devices must have Windows 7\/8\/10 or MacOS 10.10 or above and the capability of producing sound via speakers or headphones.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mobile devices may be used for some, but not all, Brightspace functions. A mobile device cannot replace a desktop\/laptop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The most recent versions of iOS and Android Operating Systems are recommended.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master\u2019s degree students are required to have audio and video capabilities for the Capstone Entrance Exam and Capstone Research course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Email Account<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1x_F2ZrpFpEB2GyiSQqnc1HLEsz6LLbj_YchyU5xYg4w\/edit#\">Acceptable Use Policy<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/help.theartofeducation.edu\/how-do-i-activate-my-aoeu-.edu-gmail\">How to activate my email<\/a>&nbsp;<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-paragraph\">\n<p>Students are <em>required<\/em> to use their AOEU-issued email addresses to:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Receive university communications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register for courses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pay tuition and fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Log into the student portal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access coursework<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-column none pad-sm\" style=\"position: relative;background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0);\"><div class=\"block-column-content\" style=\"position: relative; z-index: 3;\">\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Connectivity<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High-speed Internet connection: Cable, DSL, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Internet Web Browser (Firefox 3+, Microsoft Edge, Safari 3.1+, or Google Chrome).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal e-mail account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Creation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"custom-content-row block-core-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Word Processor (MS Word, Apple Pages, Google Docs, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PDF Reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader or Apple Preview).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional software may be required for certain courses.
