Meaningful professional development involves opportunities for teachers to reflect critically on their practice, question their beliefs about teaching and learning, and bring new ideas and practices into the classroom (Darling-Hammond & McLaughlin, 1995, as cited in, Lind, 2007, p. 2). In this self-directed, three-week course, participants will attend\u00a0FAEA\u2019s 2024 Annual Conference<\/a><\/strong> with a focus on self-examination of classroom practice and teaching philosophy. Participants will reflect on their experience by applying learning in their professional practice and through personal reflection.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Step 1: Make sure you are registered for the 2024 FAEA Conference<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Step 2: Register for the 1-credit course FAEA: Current Topics in Art Education<\/em>. Upon registering, download the Course Guide<\/strong><\/a>. This will have everything you need to be successful in the course while you are attending the 2024 FAEA Conference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
